An athlete management system sized for a community club
Professional clubs run an athlete management system: one place for how players arrive, what they did, how they test, what is injured and who is available. Those systems are usually sold by quote and built for full-time staff. Most clubs below the A-League run the same jobs from spreadsheets, group chats and memory. Full Season does them for a club with one coach and a physio on Thursdays.
What an athlete management system does, and what Full Season does
| The job | In Full Season |
|---|---|
| Wellness and readiness | A 30 second check-in on each player's phone before training, scheduled by day, phase and age (under 12s fill in nothing). Who arrived flat is on the coach's Today screen. |
| Training load | Effort times minutes after each session, against the player's own last four weeks. No ratio that claims to predict injuries. Catapult connects once; any other GPS is a file upload. |
| Testing | Sprints, jumps, the 30-15 or Yo-Yo and a movement screen, ranked in the squad and set against published marks with the study named. Sprints and jumps can be timed from slow motion phone video. |
| Injuries and return to play | Records the way football research keeps them, three statuses (full, modified, rehab only), the physio's guidelines in words a coach acts on, a return to running ladder and a return to play checklist. |
| Availability and selection | Available today by name, the selection list, and availability counted every morning for the committee as numbers only. |
| Programs | A program for every player, built from their tests, age, injuries and club nights, with the study behind each exercise. The coach can change anything. |
| Reports | A weekly report of who needs a look first, block reports with two test days side by side, and a squad testing page the committee can open. |
| Access by role | S&C coach, head coach, physio and committee each see their own part, enforced on the server. Players see only their own page. |
Where it differs from a professional system
Players need no app or password. Each player has a private link that saves to the home screen. The price is published: Squad A$1,200 a month, Club A$2,200 a month, 30 days free, no lock-in contract. Data is stored in Sydney, each club walled off, and the coach can download everything the club holds as one file. It is built for soccer: the warm-up, the age rules for juniors, the heat limits for your ground and the tactics board are part of it, not add-ons.
